Big boy days

A few recent pics of our little Julesy who is growing faster than we can believe...he is going to be 10 months in 2 weeks and just measured in at 30" and almost 19lbs last week. This has been a very exciting month with changes and developments coming at a rapid pace...eating finger foods, crawling and almost walking, talking..ney, screaming, esp. when you take the cell phone away from him (see above and below), waving and clapping...he keeps us on our toes for sure. Really we are in awe most all of the time...all different kinds of awe of course...like 'awe' shux he smiled at me and 'awe' ain't he so cute and 'awe' my god why do you have to scream so loud for everything and 'awe', he ripped off my glasses and pulled my beard out, but mostly just, wow, you're awe-some.

Future Uke player?

Julesy is really making sounds on whatever he can, and after taking a few months of regular music classes, he is all about banging on daddy's guitar or in this case, playing a little ukelele slide guitar with an egg shaker.

Giving chase...

Before we started finding Julesy standing in his crib waiting for us in the morning and had to lower his mattress down again, we had been playing this fun game of 'Catch me if you can, even though I am running and jumping in place and not actually getting away.' He really loves it and the hotter the chase gets, the funnier it seems to become.
