Santa comes early to Harvard!

A special visit from Santa came yesterday while we helped our friends Jen and Jason celebrate their daughter Ryan's 1st birthday. Jules didn't quite know what to make of the large man in red and white, but he nonetheless took the opportunity to explain to Santa in great detail that this year he just wants worl peace.
Harvard tidbit: Baby Ryan Pinney and Julesy will be in the same class together at Harvard Elementary.

We took Julesy out to lunch on Saturday and this was the first time he actually ate with us. He was either hungry or distracted b/c he loved the sweet potato that daddy made. In the end though, Julesy was more into eating the plastic bag of oyster crackers and his placemat than anything.

Ahh November!

I love this time of year! Who ever said that cold, dark and rainy didn't have its rewards too? I guess I am probably a little biased being a cold, dark and rainy November baby myself, but I think this one of the best times of year...esp for those crispy mornings that whisper winter's on it's way and a sky that only can be seen this time of yr. That said, here are few pics from this weekend - Brenna made me a great bday "picnic", Julesy found that he loves the Chico chair and after stopping for some of the General Store's bittersweet hot cocoa, we stumbled upon an amazing sunset at the pond.

Happy Halloween!

A few pics of our little pinchy...even though it was 70 degrees and he was sweating in his costume, he was a perfect little lobster! I must admit, I was a little disturbed that all lobster costumes come in the color of cooked lobster ;-).

Good to be back!

After a long couple weeks away, it was so good to get back home, regardless of the 30 degree temperature difference! Julesy is going to be 7 months next week and is really becoming a big ham these days! Some recent pics below.

First visit to Gran's

Julesy got to visit the town where Daddy grew up for the first time when we headed to Rochester last week. He really loved seeing his grandparents and all three great-grandparents!! He was also happy to be out of the car after 7 hrs (although the pictures would not lead on to believe this ;-).

Pit stop down memory lane

In need of a diaper change and some gas, we made a last minute stop on our way back from western NY to our old stomping grounds in Schenectady. It had been well over 10 yrs and we really got a kick out of seeing it again. We took a quick walk through campus, snapped a couple key pics and then got back on the road. Then, in typical New England fashion, a Nor'easter decided to dump snow on us the entire rest of the trip! Julesy's first snow...and in October!
