A basket of Jules or Our son is a basketcase

I couldn't resist this series - when we got home from Montauk and were unpacking, we found Jules mixed in with the dirty laundry...we decided to hand wash separately.

Family vacation

We packed up Julesy recently (and everything else we could find) and took our first family vacation down to the beach in Montauk, NY (the eastern end of Long Island). We had a great time and mr. baby really does love long walks on the beach. Thanks so much to Aunt Rita and Phyl for the amazing hospitality - we cant wait to come back.

After eating his first "solids"...yum

Good times with old friends

Hard to believe we have known the Stricklands for the better part of 15 years now! Sadly, we have not seen them for the last 2 of those 15 years. This past week however, that stat was neutralized when Dave, Kirstin, Norah and Mae journeyed from LA to New England in search of relaxation and non-scorched landscapes...a little snippet of the days we spent with them.

"The Farm" Hinsdale, NH

Strick, come on buddy...why?

Good eats, of course

Julesy riding on mama's knee

Look out for this one

Get east guys, seriously...

Moms, beers and babies...hot

Norah loves Julesy, whether he likes it or not

He likes it, come on

Mae also liked Julesy, but more as a light snack

Again, parents with babies and beers...not even small children can stop us

Oopies...uncle tbone misses you.

Please never call me a dork again

10 yrs and 3 kids later...back at "The Farm"

No, I am not completely unimaginative, but I did not have anything original to name this blog post, although I felt it bore posting because Julesy is getting so darn big and also cute. He's a good little boy.
