Let me start by saying here that I love Fall, but that I quite dislike raking...until now. Now raking serves a dual purpose: the lesser of which is to pointlessly move leaves from A to B, leaving the true importance resting on the creation of leaf-based mountains for young ones to climb, clamber, dive, jump and unfortunately, eat their way through. We had some morning fun this Sat doing just this and Mommy captured the action along the way.

Julesy just loves chores

Lil' helper

After watching daddy patch and paint the basement walls post-flood, Jules quickly learned what the roller was for. Of course this is an illusion -grabbed the dry roller and started "painting." You're hired little buddy.

The joy of tractors and berries

First post first haircut pics....Blueberry picking (mommy and daddy picked, Julesy ate)....and on some cool old tractors we found at one of our favorite local dinner spots.

Best weekend of the summer

Thanks to the Baumers, Steve and Melissa, for having us out to their new lake house on Burden Lake, NY last weekend - Steve, Molly, Lucy, Cal and Henry Hoyt met us there for what turned out to be the nicest weekend of the summer...cant wait to get back there!
Baumer showing Julesy the grounds.

I love Burden Lake, I love it not....Jules got a bad fever the last day and wasn't feeling too good.

Well done guys, well done
(and yes, that is a pong table in the foreground - sry, not grown up just yet)

Jules and Nico were fast friends...
