Gran is grand!

Thx for a great visit to my Gran - I had so much fun with you the past few days and enjoyed showing you all my latest tricks!! Can you believe how big I've gotten - it must be from all those yummy bottles you fed me. I love all of the songs you taught me too!! xo ~Jules

Happy 29th Uncle Eric!!

Happy Birthday Uncle Eric! By my calculations you are exactly 345 months older than me today - daddy says that things really start to cook after month 360, but enjoy this upcoming year anyway and congratulations on your new crib!

One year ago this week...

...we kissed Austin goodbye and headed north! Boy what a year can bring! Happy birthday (7/18) to Brenna - we had a great day with fresh baked scones, homemade lobster rolls and good old fashioned lounging. Grandma CC and Grandpa Bob even came over to babysit and let us go out to dinner alone for the first time in 3 months - very exciting!!

Approaching 3 months...

Hard to believe our little slugger is almost 12 weeks old, but on mommy's birthday this Saturday we'll have hit the ever-talked about 3 month mark. We have been on the move lately and exposing Jules to some key New England rites of passage. Most recently we had uncle Eric and Michael visit from Chicago - we had a great time hanging out, watching Wimbledon, going to the beach and eatin lotsa lobstahs!

Interstate and overnight!

My first trip out of Mass and away from home! We went up to Vermont to visit Grandpa Zimmer and Grandma Ryan and boy was it green!! We had a great time though...going outside for a walk, dining outside (I enjoyed dinner from what daddy said looked like a baby spaceship), yummy greens from the greenhouse, making the season's first pesto, the bird sightings, a rainbow and break in the weather, and of course, sleeping my longest stretch to date...almost 8 hrs!!

Old friends make new friends...

The Colliers (Todd, Sarah, Ryan and Charlie) stopped by last week for a cookout and to introduce their new baby Charlie. We feasted on a double rack of baby backs that daddy made in some sort of homage to Texas and strawberry shortcake with berries freshly picked by Ryan and Sarah. Charlie was born only two weeks after me, so mommy and daddy thought we should meet and get to know one another. Great meeting you Charlie! xo ~Jules
