More Winter Fun

We have been getting more snow than we know what to do with and we have now amassed a 7' mountain in the front yard that Julian is still trying to summit. He consistently asks to "Shaaaaavuuulll", so we indulge him...when he's of course not busy vacuuming, mopping or sweeping.

Winter

Some random shots of the goings on at our house so far this winter. From hanging outside in our huge snow piles, to riding the tractor to cut down the Christmas tree, to trying on every pair shoes mommy and daddy own, to a great trip to Austin...we have had a busy winter already! See if you can pick out which shot is from Austin!

For some reason, at 20 months, Julian derives great joy through the simple corking and uncorking of a wine bottle - mostly due to the bellowing pop sound it makes when you pull it out. Since there are many wine bottles around to practice on, I decided to catch one in a series I will call "Daddy, do you ever run out of wine??" The answer is, "No son, not if I can help it." Love, Daddy.

Blowing bubbles

I know I have not posted here since thanksgiving, so instead of laboring over a new post, I just decided to quickly post this little bubble blowing session from last night's bath.

Thanksgiving in VT - Julesy turns 19 months

Let me start by saying here that I love Fall, but that I quite dislike raking...until now. Now raking serves a dual purpose: the lesser of which is to pointlessly move leaves from A to B, leaving the true importance resting on the creation of leaf-based mountains for young ones to climb, clamber, dive, jump and unfortunately, eat their way through. We had some morning fun this Sat doing just this and Mommy captured the action along the way.
